A new and dynamic urban center is coming to Southwest DC. Waterfront Station - currently under construction - is a mixed-use development delivering seven new buildings totaling over 2 million square feet including Class-A office space, new residential units and neighborhood oriented retail in the heart of Southwest Washington - as well as the re-opening of 4th Street, SW.
Situated on the existing Waterfront-SEU Metro station (green line) the project features a thriving retail oriented street scape along 4th Street - all in close proximity to the new baseball district, the Southwest Waterfront and major destinations throughout the region.
Waterfront Station is being developed by Waterfront Associates, a joint venture between affiliates of Forest City Washington, Inc., Bresler & Reiner, Inc. and Vornado/Charles E. Smith. 400,000 SF of new residential and retail will be developed by the District of Columbia adjacent to the site.
